At Fashion Focus Academy, you will learn hair styling skills
and use your creativity to become a confident beauty professional. Your cosmetology education will include basic and advanced hairdressing techniques, nail care, skin care, makeup application, client and retail skills as well as how to create a resume. You will be incorporating theory with extensive hands on experience to provide you with a complete understanding of the beauty and wellness industry.

Your 1500-clock hour cosmetology program at Fashion Focus
Academy is split into three phases that will help you see, think, create, and adapt as a beauty professional.

Phase 1 - The Classroom

Explore the fundamentals of Sculpture, Hair Design, Texture and Color for every hair type. Learn nail and skin services including manicures, pedicures, waxing, and facials.

Phase 2 - Theory and Clinic Floor

Put into practice the four cornerstones of see, think, create and adapt with hands-on training in our Student Salon and Spa.

Phase 3 - Advanced Theory/State Board Prep

Prepare for Academy final testing and the professional licensure exam while perfecting your craft as a designer in the Student Salon & Spa.

Cosmetology Program Details

Full Time Can take 9 months to 1 year to complete based on hours per week

Part Time Can take 1 1/2 years to complete

‍Total Hours: 1,500 hours

Upon completion of our cosmetology program, you will be prepared to take the State Board Exam to obtain your cosmetology license.
